How long is a biofeedback session?
Most sessions are between 60-90 minutes.  The first session will be a little longer due to discussing your history, issues, and goals for biofeedback.

Do I need to prepare for a session?
You will be asked to complete a Client Intake Form prior to the session.  You should come hydrated and not overly tired. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to optimize the outcome of the session.
Do not wear a watch or other jewelry items.
Wear comfortable clothing.

Will I feel anything?
During the session most clients do not feel anything physically.  Some may feel a tingling at the harness points located on the ankles, wrists, and forehead. Many feel very relaxed after a session. Many also fall asleep or go into a deep relaxed state during the session.

Are there any health conditions that are not advised to use biofeedback?
People who have pacemakers may be advised by their physicians to avoid biofeedback.  Biofeedback uses mild electrical impulses which may interfere with the pacemaker.  Those with a pacemaker will be required to submit a medical doctor's release stating that the client may participate in biofeedback.
Women who are pregnant should also be advised to avoid biofeedback.

Many clients will buy a package of sessions and come over a period of several months.  Others will choose to have weekly or monthly sessions. Most clients will chose to have sessions until they are feeling their body come into a balanced, healthy state and then come in for additional re-training or maintenance as needed.

How do I get a patch to wear between sessions?
After several sessions, a patch can be made to address the specific stressors of the client. It is made during a session and given to the client the following day.  It is made very specifically for that client and only for that client. It is easy to wear daily and highly encouraged, especially for chronic stressors.
